Our client is an international company specialized in design and
manufacturing of high quality audio and communication systems for
the automotive industry. Due to the retirement of the current
position holder they are now looking for an experienced professional
to take over the position of the Plant Manager for their
manufacturing facility located in Poland.

Mission
Successful candidate will be responsible for the management of the
plant with some 1000 employees and overseeing of all manufacturing,
supply chain and distribution activity. Some of the major duties
will include:

· Implementing of the group strategy in the business unit
· Managing and controlling the plant, in order to achieve short and
long range goals in terms of schedule reliability, quality
improvements, expense control and productivity improvements.
· Overseeing of the manufacturing processes, quality control and
customer service
· Definition of the strategic objectives and control of their
implementation
· Budget control and reporting
· Liaison with local authorities, trade unions and others
· Other task as required

Requirements
Some of the requirements you may need for this position include:
· Technical Degree in relevant area
· At least 10 years experience in manufacturing in Automotive or
Electronics industry
· Experience in similar management position or proven abilities in
management of large team in a dynamic manufacturing environment
· Sound experience in management of production processes
· Good knowledge in the areas of A&G / ICT / R&D / Supply Chain
and Logistics
· Knowledge of cost improvement through the use of Lean
Manufacturing and other methodologies is an advantage
· Personal engagement, change management attitude, independence
· Fluent English (German and/or Italian are additional assets)
