Temat: Przesunięcie terminu wprowadzenia egzaminu Certified...
Witam,W ostatnim czasie Scrum Alliance planowało wprowadzenie obowiązkowego egzaminu który należałoby zdać aby uzyskać certyfikat Certified Scrum Master. Wszystkie kursy odbywające się po 1 października miały według tych założeń wymagać zdania tego egzamiu.
Najprawdopodobniej jednak wprowadzenie tego egzaminu zostaje przesunięte na rok 2010 i wszystkie kursy które odbędą się przed tą zmianą umożliwiać będą uzyskanie certyfikatu bez konieczności jego zdania.
Podejrzewam jednak, iż tak jak to miało mieć miejsce w przypadku kursów odbywających się w aktualnym okresie przejściowym, zdanie egzaminu będzie prędzej lub później konieczne w celu utrzymania ważności certyfikatu.

Dear Trainers and Coaches,
Over the past few months, the Scrum Alliance has experienced
significant international growth with the result that now, more than
60% of all CSMs reside outside of the US. It has become apparent from
the recent feedback we have received from Trainers that a considerable
number of CSM courses continue to be taught in languages other than
English. We have been working hard this past year toward our stated
objective of expanding our presence world wide, so this is welcome
news.
Because the use of Scrum is expanding rapidly, the knowledge and
skills required to implement Scrum successfully must become more
easily understood by all individuals. So it is good to hear from
several of you that more and more courses are being localized. We hope
you find added value in the translation of the Scrum Guide into
multiple languages. Thank you to all of you who are helping with this
endeavor.
The Scrum Alliance must continually adjust to meet the training and
credentialing needs of individuals, no matter where they live. In
consideration of our recent global expansion, we recognize we must
further localize our certification requirements. That includes
localizing the pending CSM exam before we make it a requirement for
certification. This will allow all Scrum certification candidates to
attest to their knowledge of Scrum in a fair and unbiased manner.
In order to better meet the needs of our expanding international Scrum
community, we will postpone the written exam requirement for
certification as a ScrumMaster until we can localize the questions.
We will post information regarding the postponement of the exam on our
website. A team has been assembled to work on this, and we expect to
be able to release a fair, globally consistent exam in the first half
of 2010. We will keep you informed regarding the team's progress.
We believe we are doing the right thing by responding to recent growth
and expansion rather than following the plan to release the test
requirement October 1st. We are putting the need for individuals to
better understand and implement the Scrum framework over the process
of certification. On this basis, I hope you can support our actions.
