Trainee Transport Managers

As a result of our continued and sustained growth within the European transportation sector, Norfolkline are currently seeking individuals to join us as Trainee Transport Managers. Based in one of our offices in the UK and Ireland, you will be working closely with some of our major blue chip customers to ensure that we continue to provide an exceptionally high quality transportation and logistics service.

Over a period of two years, you will work under the supervision of a senior Transport Manager in order that you receive excellent training and guidance in all aspects of transport management.

On a day-to-day basis, you will be required to assist in the cost effective planning and control of all transport activities to/from the UK and Mainland Europe.

The preferred candidates will have:-

• Fluent English language skills
• A 2.1 degree (or higher) in a Business/Finance/Transport related discipline
• The ability to demonstrate commitment and enthusiasm
• Excellent attention to detail
• A flexible approach to the working of shift patterns to cover the role

Experience in a transport or retail environment would be desirable – but not essential, together with experience of dealing with customers and/or drivers.
