Temat: Senior Tooling Project Engineer-Ireland

Position Summary:

Coordinates and reviews the tooling and development aspects of projects and serves as liaison for internal project team, client project team, and plant management.
Reviews status of tooling projects and budgets; maintains schedules and prepares status reports.
Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and
objectives.
Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and
problem solving with project managers, engineers, line managers, and clients. Ensures project results meet requirements regarding technical quality, reliability, schedule and cost.

Key Responsibilities:

Leads the implementation of complex and/or large tooling builds and changes which optimize cycle times, with a robust process and meeting all quality requirements.
Participates and may lead product development or project meetings and makes various recommendations for product design changes. Including performance and presentation of the Dfm/Dfa recommendations.
In conjunction with a project, approves methods to monitor equipment/line efficiency.

In conjunction with a project, implements best practices for tooling layout and operator placement for equipment and tooling construction along with material flow diagrams and written scenarios to support recommendations.
During the implementation of a project, leads the preparation, monitoring and evaluation of equipment set-ups, maintenance run sheets, daily cycle and process change sheets for follow up and/or corrective action.
Leads complex projects related to the processing of various molded components as well as activities concerned with technical developments of a complex scope.

In conjunction with a project, implements best practices for equipment preventative maintenance and calibration procedures for equipment.
Implements design changes, specifications, and monitors and releases client of internal drawings or models.
Delivers total cost quotes for tooling with assembly operations to management including: new equipment cost, direct labor, indirect labor, upkeep/maintenance costs, etc.

In conjunction with a project, leads compliance with safety, cGMP, ISO 13485, ISO 14000, clean room, good housekeeping and sound engineering practices or standards.
