Our client is specialized design company that has gained a solid reputation for their innovative and refreshing offshore ship designs and turning these projects into reality. They develop projects for the offshore drilling, construction and production market, as well as the maritime transport market. Future market trends and client needs are their key drivers for developing and providing new floating concepts to the offshore oil and gas industries and the offshore wind industry. Their projects are developed by a team of 15 naval architects working closely together in different roles on various projects from the office located in one of the biggest harbours in the world/ Rotterdam as well as on client locations worldwide.

Function description

Currently we are looking for two self starting & creative naval architects who want to become part of their team to turn ideas into life. You have at least 3 years experience working with structural packages as well as 2D AutoCad for conceptual design and you have knowledge off class requirements (DNV, Lloyds, ABS). Your maritime interests and skills are widely developed and you’re willing to occasionally work on locations worldwide. Off course you’re fluent in English, preferably also Dutch and keen to make a new step. For foreign applicants it’s necessary to relocate to the Netherlands and learn our language.

Package
• 39 – 80 K gross per annum depending on exp. (incl. 8% holiday allowance)
• 25 paid vacation days
• 5 – 7 paid national holidays
• Dutch language courses for non Dutch speakers
• Relocation assistance for non residents
