Instrument/Metering Engineer

Work description

The instrument / meteringengineer will follow the engineering, procurement, fabrication, testing and installation of all elements associated with fiscal oil and gas meteringpackages and general field instruments. Also assist the control systemengineer. The scope shall also include review and comment of documents issuedby the engineering contractor and by the suppliers. Later the focus will be onfollow up of fabrication, testing at main supplier as well as sub-suppliers,installation in module onshore and commissioning assistance on and offshore.

Place of work: Stavanger. Some travelling on andoffshore and will be required.


Work qualifications

A minimum of 10 yearsexperience comprising engineering, fabrication, testing of metering systems andfield instrumentation.

Proven field - experience with fiscal metering systemsincluding sampling.
Experienced with development of specifications & procedures to supportmanufacture, commissioning and operational phases of the metering scope.

Fully conversant and comfortable with high HSEproject.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a multinationalproject team and ability to develop strong working relationships withcontractor personnel.
