Temat: Can managers reduce the risks of lean production?...
Interesting article here about the Riken earthquake and leanhttp://www.ft.com/cms/s/baf1f424-3fc7-11dc-b034-000077...
which forced a number of Japanese auto manufacturers to stop production
PMR is looking for case studies of succesful Lean operations in developing middle income countries. Poland would be great but not only. As wages rise surely the arguments for lean will get stronger and stronger
Ideally we would find examples of wholly locally owned operations
successfully achieving measurable success with lean.
However, if there are examples of world class production by foreign enterprises that would be great.
If anyone on this list wants to get their name out there on our Google top ranked web sites like http://pmrconsulting.com
http://pmrcorporate.com/freestuff
by writing a white paper or free article for the site that would be most welcome.
If someone could write a lot of articles for our site we could consider paying them.
If someone liked the idea of helping develop our consulting services in this area, they should send a message via our web site.
I don't believe the market is very big at the moment but it is one of these areas that is certain to expand over time.
