Technical Services Coordinator


Technical Service Coordinators (TSC’s) cultivate the Microsoft Gold Certified Partners relationship by facilitating the delivery of proactive consultative services, technical relationship management & escalation services to support our partner’s needs. The TSC will focus on driving skills transfer, First Use of Microsoft products and solutions, and deployments to help drive the partner business.

Primary Responsibility and Tasks:
• Offering targeted technical engagements with Microsoft Gold Partners by identifying opportunities and proactively providing services
• Organization/ Delivery of services such as Technical Webcasts, Presentations, Skills Transfer support to partners on Microsoft products and solutions
• Offering Partners Support Request Management by establishing supportability guidance and options
• Offering Account Management for partner support benefits
• Offering Escalation Management for support/service related issues
• Acting as an Information Concierge by proactively offering security bulletin, white papers and other technical resources relevant to partner
• Offering monthly partner feedback, satisfaction and planning meetings to determine how best to support the partner
• Build and sustain a relationship with the primary technical contact for the partner and ensure the highest level of satisfaction with services and support programs offered by Microsoft


Professional Training and Certification/Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in a Computer Sciences or related IT fields
• 3-4 years of experience in technical/consultative/partner service related roles

Technical Qualifications
• Current MCSE, MCDBA, MCAD, MCSA or other Microsoft Premier certification(s) in the technologies supported
• Experience delivery telephone base consulting, technical support, and technical presentations
• Advanced technical solution and problem solving skills
• Hands on experience working with MS server products
• Demonstrated passion for MS products and technologies

• Must possess strong Active Listening Skills
• Must have the ability to collaborate across multiple MS teams
• Capable of building and sustaining strong technical relationships
• Proactively understanding partner/customer needs and deliver services/solutions that enable them to be successful
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate information to partners on a one to one or one to many basis
• Demonstrated strong customer service skills
• Experience in resolving conflicts in a service environment
