It depends on the coin your buying, whether everyone else also thinks it's a good investment and a bunch of other factors.

Also keep in mind a lot of the time after presale, the coin usually crashes from all the people who've been holding it just until it hits exchanges so they can sell it for profit ‘if any’.

From my personal experience, no it's not worth it, just keep an eye on it and buy it after it gets listed on an exchange or Dex platform, and preferably wait to see if it drops and starts to recover.
