Since its founding more than a half century ago, China Minmetals Corporation (Minmetals in short) has provided great quantities of metals and minerals of all kinds to the national economic construction of the country through successful international trade and investments. The accumulated turnover of Minmetals now exceeds 200 billion US dollars. Under the care of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council as well as the correct leadership of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, China Minmetals Corporation has realized an annual sales volume over 15 billion US dollars for the last several years through the great efforts and wisdom pooled together by the entire staff of Minmetals.
