Temat: Going out tonight? Make sure you got your "Networking"...
Welcome!Yay Friday is here (you probably jump for joy) and you can finally go out
on that dream date/cocktail party/birthday or business dinner if you are a workoholic :)
So you are all fired up and ready to put on a show "I am fun and it will be a great night" (just like that Black Eyed Peas song goes...)
Yet do you sometimes find stuck at a dead end after arrival?
You expected to be the host of the show and yet you are not in the spotlight
or if you wanted to be more quiet someone else has taken the floor and irritates you?
All of the above and more behaviours fall into a large category called: NETWORKING,
yet the general Polish convention is to call it acquaintances ("znajomości") and it's labeled as dark and evil. But IT SHOULD NOT BE!
Networking is all about extending your network-group of friends/business partners, having something to offer them (not necessarily the minute you meet them)
How to do it right?

Be open-minded, outgoing, a good listener
and it will pay off in the long run whether in a new girlfriend/boyfriend or sale/event/interview etc.
