Dear Fellow Toastmasters,

1. Flight:

I'm used to fly with Wizzair and have the so called mixed feelings:-)

I used this airline around 3 weeks ago last time (from Warsaw to Brussel).

Some advice for you:

- you're not allowed to take any liguid, cream, deo with in your hand lagguage (a bottle of water, juice, hand cream, face cream, spry, etc.)
If you use a liguide medicine, I do kindly recommend you to inform about this fact he representatives of The Customs Authorities at the early begining of the control.

-the same is valid for sharp tools

-if your shoes, clothes have some metallic elements, remember you'll have to take them off for control

-you're allowed to have your meal with (sandwiches, biscuites). One sandwiche in Wizzair costs around 4 EURO

-remember to have something against sickness or a headache. Unfortunatelly they don't have such medicine in Wizzair rather often.

2. T ravelling in Germany -Ruhrgebiet:

Moving to our travelling in Germany from Dortmund to Duesseldorf. I agreed with Chris and Maciek that we will see other cities before (e.g. Essen).
For this purpose I have a good guide book printed in Germany: "Duesseldorf, Ruhrgebiet" issued by Polyglot with a good map of Duesseldorf and 12 Top Tips.

I also checked train connections and prices of tickets valid for the whole Ruhrgebiet (including train, tram, underground, bus) which will make our trip much cheaper. One group ticket is valid up to 5 people and costs around 25EURO.

Hello Fellow Toastmasters,

On Friday some of us fly to Duesseldorf.

If you take an early plane to Dortmund at 6.10, remember that we have to board on the plane from 4.10 till 5.30.
You need your itinerary (kod rezerwacji) to get on the plane.
Remember that we are only allowed to take 10 kg luggage. Not much!
I have never flown by Wizz Air. If you have any comments on flying cheap airlines, let us know.

Some time ago, we discussed with Monika, Chris and Jerzy that en route to Duesseldorf, we would like to see Dortmund and Essen. If you would like to join, feel free.
On arrival In Duesseldorf I would like to visit Rheinturm (Tower on the Rhine), which has beautiful view on the surrounding area. Anybody fancy going with me?
Later on Friday Hadrian offers us sightseeing in Medien Haffen.

Make sure you have received confirmation from Hadrian concerning a place to sleep.

On Saturday we have the whole day planned for us.
Additionally I would like to see Benrath Palace and Parks in vicinity of the city. Want to join? There is an alternative to go shopping, but I would prefer to visit Benrath.
If anybody has suggestions for other attractions worth visiting, please let me know. Galleries and museums in Dueseldorf are not that impressing (comparing to Koeln for example).

On Sunday we have to get going to catch the plane to Warsaw in Dortmund.

How do you like my plan? J

Best regards
