Philadelphia Mixers, the leading manufacturer of fluid mixing equipment and services, has announced availability of their CF (Counter Flow) Mixer Impeller for high viscosity polymer blending and/or shear-thinning fluid applications.

The impeller's unique design promotes strong up and down pumping action with a single impeller, while helping to control the Weissenberg (shaft climbing) effect of the fluid being blended. The improved, mixed axial and radial flow of the CF impeller allows it to operate at high impeller to tank (D/T) ratios (blades that are 60% to 80% of tank diameter) making the CF extremely energy efficient over other competitive impeller designs.
