It is (un)fortunatelly...

It is called "Mc World":
- Adverts,
- Globalization,
- Post bilateral world order (Great America and Mother Russia),
- Finally: fast buy, fast pay, fast consume - It is easy to do it in english, even writting computer programs was started, and it is continued in english.

You will not change it, unless you change whole civilized world.

This is what I think...

I think English is not very easy to learn. I teach English myself and my students always have problems with their Polish thinking. The grammar seems to be easy (few inflections) but that very easiness causes trouble. For example Polish grammar structures are more flexible. Take the sentences: Pies goni kota and kota goni pies. There is a simple change in order without changing the meaning. You can't do the same in English. There are so many other similar examples. Moreover, there are structures not present in Polish like articles, or progressive tenses.

I think that also historical reasons play their part here... Let's not forget that one time in history England was super-power and had its colonies almost everywhere ;) Naturally, they brought their language and culture to those colonies and that's also how the English lg had spread.Agnieszka C. edytował(a) ten post dnia 28.09.09 o godzinie 01:15
