Temat: Landman for international company in the energy sector.
Our Client is an American company operating in the energy sector with a concession for the extraction of shale gas. The company is actively developing its operations in Poland with office in Warsaw.Currently, We are looking for Candidates for the position of:
LandMan
Requirements:
-Strong experience in a traditional surface negotiator role, or other
relevant experience
-Have an understanding of applicable Polish regulatory rules and procedures concerning permitting and all aspects of surface rights and environment
-Have a basic knowledge of local and surrounding areas
-Proven history of maintaining and nurturing business and landowner contacts
-Possess strong negotiation skills as well as experience recognizing, analyzing, and resolving difficult negotiating situations
-Goal and solution oriented with ability to remain flexible during times of changing priorities and deadlines.
-Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, and reach closure within established time frames and budgets
-Outstanding team player with strong interpersonal skills to effectively work within a multi-disciplinary group to achieve project related goals
Major Responsibilities:
-Effectively manage all aspects of all surface rights acquisition and maintenance necessary for company exploration
-The successful candidate will work closely with the country manager, project team, land consulting firms and contracts personnel to deliver results
-Ability to communicate with surface owners on an ongoing basis to address and resolve issues related to exploration, development and production activities.
-Communicate internally as required (Drilling, Facilities, Operations, legal, environment, etc.)
-Communicate with outside agencies as required (other operators, service companies, regulators, etc.)
-Project management, document management and coordinating projects with the appropriate field operations personnel, land, legal, safety, regulatory, engineering and management staff.
-Landowner and stakeholder relations and ensuring regulatory compliance
-Analyzing and remaining current on applicable policies and regulations that affect surface rights, environmental issues and land access issue
