I'm 12 days and 6 hours on foot from Dave Andrew, about 18 days away from Tromso, Norway (just for the heck of it), 2 days and 19 hours from having coffee with my significant other, and 11 days and 8 hours away from Jarek A.

Well, I think I can. I'd have to walk all the way through Asia though. Besides, the walking routes include options for ferries, otherwise Dave wouldn't be able to get to Poland in 12 days and 6 hours. Via Denmark, mind you.

I'm not sure how accurate that GM thing is. I've been on cycle rides and then tried to calculate the distance. However, whether I choose by foot or road there are routes that it just won't let you do as it thinks that it is a one-way street etc.

However, from here to the UK I doubt that one or two one-way streets in the city centre of Warsaw would delay you that much. However, are you allowed to walk along the motorway - in the rest of Europe, obviously, it is a hypothetical question in Poland ;)

Not that it matters, but I'm 15 seconds away from the nearest shitter.

Weird enough though, when nature calls time seems to expand beyond all recognition as percieved by me, while the bystanders notice a significant decrease of the time needed to travel from point A (my desk) to point B (the aforementioned shitter).

Is this a proof for the theory of relativity?

Very much so. I, for instance, am about 50 metres from Tesco, which always seems like 50 kms whenever I've just made myself a nice coffee only to discover there's no milk left.

On the other hand, it's just 5 leaps when I've got munchies and feel like having some chocolate...

But atm I'm just 10 steps away from my kitchen, and I keep running back and forth between my computer and my cooker at light speed. There's nothing more powerful than a nature's call. In my current case, it's hunger.
