This is hilarious! I thought only Ali G and his boys spoke like that! (not really) If someone were to write Shakespeare in Ebonics I think we would have a big racial problem. :( It would be off da hook, doh. Yoofspeak - who knew? hahaha

Your discussion reminded me of a similar thing in Polish. Someone came out with the idea of translating the Bible into youth language.
Those of you who know Polish can find some more information about it + some samples if you go into Google: 'dobra czytanka wg. św. Zioma Janka'.

What have you been up to?

I was busy with various things - mainly house, parents visiting, stuff like that. My GL activity is close to naught at the mo. I've been reading some threads but it has been increasingly more difficult to keep track of all what's being discussed.
