POLISH TOURIST MANAGES TO RECOVER STOLEN VALUABLES FROM PATTAYA BEACH BUNNY
A tourist from Poland awoke on 15 December, 2008, to find all his money and valuables had been stolen by a casual sex partner he‘d picked up on Pattaya Beach Road. Fortunately for him, however, his hotel‘s CCTV had photographed the woman leaving his room and going into another in the same hotel. Police were able to pursue and arrest her and her accomplice husband.
At 6.10 am., on 15 December, Police Lieutenant Somchai Chaikananukul, Pattaya Deputy Investigator, was notified that a sex worker had stolen a tourist's money while he was sleeping in his room at Siam Sawasdee Hotel , Pattaya Second Road, Moo. 9. A police team was subsequently sent to investigate.
Arriving at the complainant's room, police found Mr. Slawomir Pawel Muniak [67] from Poland waiting anxiously. He explained that he had picked up a woman from Pattaya Beach Road and had taken her back to his hotel room to have sex. After he'd had sex, he fell asleep, to later awake to find all his valuables, including clothes, cash and mobile phone, were missing.
Police then asked the hotel officers to check the hotel CCTV video footage and were fortunate enough to find a photo of the woman who had visited his room. She had subsequently gone into another room in the hotel and the police and the victim went along to the room to question her.
Knocking on the door, police were greeted by Mrs. Yada Unkeaw [ 28] from Chacherngsao and Mr. Wichet hah-Jiah-soon [28] from Chantaburi . The husband and wife were shocked to see the police officers and the victim all standing in front of their door.
Checking the room, police found the victim's items in a plastic bag, namely the LG. mobile phone, a calculator, and some cash, held by Mr. Wichet, whilst Mrs. Yada had some US dollars hidden in her panties. Female police officers thoroughly checked her and finally found all Mr. Slawomir Pawel Muniak's valuables and cash totalling US$906.
Mrs. Yada confessed that after her client had gone to sleep, she'd then called her husband to check into the same hotel in order to divide the spoils, hide them and recover them later. They were caught in the process. She said she'd wanted to send some money back home to her family to pay their debts. Both husband and wife were Yah Bah-addicted, too. She had cleverly thought she could get away with hiding the money in the hotel, so that if she was later picked up by the police they would find nothing, however, she reckoned without the CCTV evidence.
According to the police, the thieving couple had a history of such crimes. Police will charge them with conspiring to steal and night-time theft.Jan Krongboon edytował(a) ten post dnia 18.12.08 o godzinie 07:47
