Executive Summary
China Investment Forum is a platform that actively supports investment flow
between Europe and China by connecting representatives of both, and by providing
first‐hand information about economic development and investing in China.
The forum targets 4 groups of participants:
1. European CEOs, managers and entrepreneurs looking into possibilities how to
directly enter Chinese market
2. European economists, investment bankers, financial & investment advisers,
analysts and individual investors interested in learning about current economic
issues and investment opportunities in China
3. Chinese economic & development zones wanting to attract new investors from
Europe
4. Representatives of Chinese companies looking for ways how to expand to
Europe
The forum is primarily organized for V4 countries (Czech Republic, Slovakia,
Hungary, Poland) and will take place on 8. – 11. November 2010 in Prague.
Participation of the President of the Czech Republic, Chinese Ambassador to the Czech
Republic, Ministers of Economy of V4 countries, and a representative of the Chinese
Ministry of Commerce are planned to attend.
The estimated number of European participants is around 500. On the Chinese side,
150 – 200 delegates are expected to arrive.

The forum is organised by Czech educational company HYL s.r.o., the Embassy of the
Czech Republic in China, and HEFT Oy (Finnish business development & consultancy
co‐operating with Chinese development zones) in close cooperation with Campanula
Business Consulting, Ltd. (Chinese market research company).
The forum is officialy supported by the following institutions:
MOFCOM* – Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China, CCPIT (China
Council for Promotion of International Trade), OECD* (Organisation for Economic Cooperation
and Development), Delegation of the European Union to China, Embassy
of the Republic of Poland in China*, Embassy of the Slovak Republic in China* and
Embassy of the Republic of Hungary in China
