Temat: Credit Risk Analyst at a leading bank in Stockholm

My clients is looking for an individual with a high level of ambition and a solid interest in risk management in general and credit risk in particular. One of the most important assignments is to measure and communicate, to the CEO and to the board of directors, the aggregated risks of the Group and analyse how they affect the Group and its economic capital. The position offers excellent opportunities to influence and develop future methods for credit risk analysis. The job includes business trips to foreign subsidiaries. Since my client's official language is English it is vital that you have very good command of English, both orally as well as in writing. Knowledge of any of the Baltic Languages and/or Russian is an advantage.


Main job tasks are:
- On-going analysis of credit portfolio from a risk point of view.
- Writing of different types of presentations that illustrate the portfolio credit risks to management and board of directors.
- Development of analysis tools and methods regarding all aspects of portfolio credit risk.
- Participation in various projects for example concerning groups' fulfilment of the Basel II regulatory framework.
- Current maintenance and development of contacts with the relevant parts in the Baltic countries concerning monitoring and analysis of portfolio credit risks.

You possess:

- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration, economics, finance, engineering or computer science.
- Experience from working with portfolio credit risk and the Basel II framework in a bank or financial institute.
- Solid theoretical risk management background, particularly within the credit risk area.
- Excellent knowledge in English, both written and spoken.
- A documented analytic capability in combination with a strong power of initiative.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Excel and of at least one other programming language e.g. VB, SQL or SAS Base.
- Experience in project participation and/or management and a capability to deliver and keep tight dead-lines.
