One may find it outrageous that member of parliament breaks the law and then evades legal consequences due to his Parliamentary Privilege.
But Mr Kurski is not an exception. He's just a typical Polish driver who doesn't care about the rules and regulations. The only difference is that he has Parliamentary Privilege. I believe all others would also use the immunity if they have one.

I believe most others would use the immunity too or try to. If they didn't appear to try to, in the case of politicians in general, they may try to manipulate the case in a way that sheds positive light on them in the best way possible. "I made a mistake and I'm not above the law...fine me like anyone." That happpens when the behind-the-closed-door options are exhausted.

And now to pay my way here...well, sometimes it doesn't mean better. Ask a winemaker. :)
