Temat: Warsztat PMI Gdańsk - SCRUM IN ACTION - 7.12.2013
Sprint, Velocity, Stories – software and hardware teams are using these terms quite often. But what do they really mean? How do these apply to the projects that you’re involved with today? This workshop, taught by experienced practitioner, is mixture of lecture and interactive team exercises. Participants will learn about Scrum by using Scrum practices throughout the class. Following this training, participants will be able to:1. Describe Scrum concepts and roles
2. Describe the necessary steps to implement Scrum in their organization
3. Identify impediments to implementing Scrum in their organization
Workshop price includes coffee break, materials and event organization. Eventual surplus will be donated to statutory activities of PMI Gdansk Branch, including organization of charity projects English Summer/Winter Camp.

Agile & Lean Coach
Robert works for Intel Emergent Systems and Coaching Group acting as the Agile and Lean Coach. For last two years Robert was a member of Intel Architecture Group Software Program Office, responsible for Scrum and IBM Rational Team Concert Trainings, Agile Coaching, Customer Engagement, and deployment of Software Development Estimation and Control solutions – QSM SLIM. Prior to IAG SPO Robert worked for Intel IT Engineering Computing PMO where he was leading the Agile Project Management implementation, adopting the Agile approach in IT EC projects. While working for IT EC Robert was responsible for strategic program management, project selection and ratification, as well as project health improvements.
Before joining Intel, Robert was overseeing the adoption of MSF, SELECT Perspective, RUP, and ISO 9002 for several ISVs. Being the manager of B2B SW Dev department he introduced and was overseeing the software test automation using the IBM Rational Robot, implementing the daily build and test driven SW Dev approach. Robert holds the MSc degree (specializing in ICs) from Gdansk University of Technology and Postgraduate Diploma in Finance from The University of Gdansk. He holds the Certified Scrum Master, PMI/PMP®, ITIL® , and the PRINCE2® Practitioner credentials.
