Temat: "Inspirational" Film Quotes

We've all been in situations where a film quote jumps into our head, proving perfectly suitable, and then we're pleased as punch. Or when a quote comes into our head and we bite our lip, as it definitely would not be suitable. I'll start:

Quite often, when we hire someone, as they sign the contract, I have an overwhelming urge to quote Ray Winstone from "Scum", and take the contract from them, saying "I'm the Daddy now!"

Oh man! There's only one Quote, the mother, the father and the secret lover of all quotes:

"You talkin' to me? Are you talkin' to ME?"

It jumps into my head when someone patronizes me, you know:

- Son, come here, will ya?
or
- Go get me this and that, sport, will ya?
or
- You should do what I say, 'cos I say so.

It jumps into my head very often, too often even. I'm terrorized that one day it may slip out and I'll be in deep s***... erm, trouble.

... whenever I see the crap people at work eat for lunch. One day I'm just going to say that out loud.

And two quotes I actually often use:

From Duck Soup:
"You must have been vaccinated with a phonograph needle." To friends who talk too much :)

And my favorite:
"No uterus, no opinion." (Rachel in my fav show, Friends)

Normally, I'm a "can-do" kind of person, but often, this quote from "The Big Lebowski"* comes into my head:

"Nothing is fucked? The goddamn plane has crashed into the mountain!"

*Perhaps the most quoteable film in the world. Another favourite: "I'm staying. I'm finishing my coffee!"
