[b]Fraud and Corruption Workshop - Practical ways of detecting and investigating fraud and corruption in your organisation. Wilno, Litwa

Dates: Thursday 5 and Friday 6 March 2015

Venue: The British Embassy, Vilnius, Lithuania

Workshop Facilitators: Professor Peter Jackson, Nigel Iyer, Audrius Sapola

What is it about?
Fraud and corruption is not a risk that can be mitigated though audits and regulation, it is, like death and taxes, a certainty. Only by accepting the reality of fraud and corruption can we begin to examine ways of adressing this endemic problem.

This unique two day workshop is designed to provide managers and risk professionals alike with the knowledge and tools to tackle the problem of fraud and corruption within their organisation. It is bought to you by a specialist team of practitioners and academics from the University of Leicester School of Management.

The workshop will be highly interactive and practical using cases, group discussion and realistic exercises. Download a workshop schedule.
Who should attend?
The workshop is invaluable for anyone interested in countering fraud and corruption in their organisation. This includes senior managers, risk managers, internal auditors, compliance officers and counter fraud specialists in the public and private sectors.

Why should I attend?
Fraud and corruption affects us all. It's in the news every single day and at worst it is seen in some circles as necessary for business to operate.

Time and again we see people and apparently well-managed organisations subjected to major embarrassment, financial penalties or even bankruptcy as the result of inappropriate actions and failings by 'trusted' individuals. This workshop requires that we learn to address the challenge; how we can ensure that we actively defend ourselves and our organisations against the very real threats we would rather not see.

What we want you to achieve by attending
