Online Programmer

Place of work: Warsaw
Ref: OP 05/2011

The main responsibilities of this role will include:
• Scripting for on-line surveying. Timely, accurate and cost efficient setting up of on-line surveying for
projects generated by Nielsen Research Consultants across the region. This will include Web
Based surveys, Email Based surveys, Popup surveys and Intranet surveys.
• Managing the sample source and broadcasting the email invitations and reminder emails,
responding to support requests from respondents
• Providing accurate statistical reporting on projects, e.g. number of hits, suspensions, interview
durations
• Setting up and providing technical support for Online Focus Groups
• Setting up and maintaining databases
• Data output and online reports
• Serve as liaison between research organizations in assigned regions
• Providing technical support to Online Research Consultants

Profile:
• Graduates of secondary school / technical college / IT profiles /1st, 2nd, 3rd year students
• Ready to work full time
• Good knowledge of HTML, PowerPoint and Access
• Communicative English
• Good command of Russian would be an advantage
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Good organizational skills
• Good communication skills to articulate results, describe situations and persuade results

Sample Administration Production Specialist

The main responsibilities of this role will include:
• Manage, create and design the project specific demographic requirements of global online surveys for Nielsen BASES
• Support global panel health, data integrity and database hygiene, often through coordinating with internal clients teams with BASES
• Support the processes of the Sample Administration team
• Work closely with other GBS teams and internal clients to ensure that deliverables match or exceed expectations
• Monitor in field processes to ensure deliverables are consistently met on time

Profile:
• Degree in Information systems or in related field
• Ready to work full time
• Fluent English
• Basic to intermediate MSSQL programming
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of database layout and use
• Excel and MS Access experience
• Customer focus attitude
• Good communication skills to articulate technical concepts to less technical internal clients
• Ability to take a global view of process management and scope solutions appropriate to the market
• Ability to facilitate a broad variety of projects across multiple groups
