There is a simple remedy. You can have a t-shirt made. It'll say "toxico" or "Mother Teresa". Wear it any time you go through emotions like these, and I'm sure you'll shake them off with greater ease. Wearing it and looking into your own crying eyes in the mirror also helps. :)

Well, I'd say that giving up is pretty easy, but I wouldn't recommend it. As for the words of wisdom that you quote... I couldn't agree more, only they are like a long-term remedy: don't help much in emergency situations. On the other hand, what does?

Nothing, really...grieving is very natural, necessary, unavoidable and never reasonably explained....

I don't think that giving up is easy...the idea is....as easy as signing the advance directives for the unknown future. But once it comes close...and a dim theory is a mere step away from the practice...the odds change...and decision becomes ...not very easy> Anetta M.:

As many times as required to sit back and realize what you want in life.
If love is what you are looking for, soon you will realize it is not that difficult to find it.
If "perfect love", a very tough and long road awaits you, I'm afraid.
