Here's the first one.

This is from the anti-war film 'Gallipoli', and it is 'Adagio in G Minor for Strings and Organ' by Albinoni:

A great choice, Warren. Before Ilter offers his comments, I'd like to add a scene from a Polish film and (oops!)in Polish. It's a scene from "Pan Taduesz", directed by Andrzej Wajda and based on the great epic poem under the same title by Adam Mickiewicz.
The Polonez to which they dance was composed by Wojciech Kilar, one the best contemporary Polish composers.

I love the film and the music.
J.S. Bach - "Goldberg Variations". In my opinion the music was a perfect choice , especially for the most heartbreaking scenes.
