For our Business Partner - international production company - we are looking for suitable professionals for a position:
Plant Manager
Place of work: close to Wrocław

The role of Plant Manager is responsible for the safe and profitable operation of European Operations – facility in Poland. Includes all aspects of operations with a focus on bottom-line profitability and customer satisfaction. Is also responsible for Supply Chain and third-party satellite activities across Europe.

The main tasks are:

• Establish a new opertaiong entity in Poland and oversee design, build and successful strat-up of manufacturing;
• Ensure the European Operations are in compliance with all aspects of Environment, Health and Safety requirements to ensure a safe and environmentally sound workplace and prevent accidents and injuries,
• Maximize bottom line profitability of European Operations, using available tools and metrics to acquire and maintain profitable growth and efficient management of costs,
• Establish professional relationship with key customers through customer visitations,
• Utilize Lean, Six Sigma concepts, 5S and good housekeeping practices to ensure efficient flow and minimum waste,
• Support Research and Development efforts for future European products and manufacturing processes,
• Champion cost control and ensure that European Operations spending is within budget,
• Acquire, retain and develop human resources required to optimize the effectiveness of European Operations.

From candidates we expect:

• University degree in engineering;
• 10 to 15 years of Experience in an industrial environment;
• Ability to communicate fluently both written and spoken in English;
• Strong background in Lean, Six Sigma and Continuous Improvement,
• Previous experience in international assignments and familiarity with general labor relations and collective bargaining is also preferred,
• Excellent organizational, managerial and interpersonal skills,
• Other foreign language as a plus.
