This is a great bike. I lived in London in the 80's and it was the bike of choice for motorcycle couriers. I bought one of the last new ones and I loved it. It is far from perfect (especially the straight up forks and short wheelbase) but is absolutely full of character and great to ride. I'd have another in a second. "The main problem is the cam chain tensioner" - you could say this about almost all multi cylinder Honda motorcycles of the period, especially the CBX550 (another Honda I owned and loved). Honda were replacing those under warranty on 10 year old bikes :)Kroger eSchedule

The design included innovative features and technologies that were uncommon or unused at the time such as liquid cooling, electric-only starting, low-maintenance shaft drive, modular wheels, and dual CV-type carburetors that were tuned for reduced emissions. The electronic ignition system was separate from the rest of the electrical system, but the motorcycle could only be started via the start button. thats a good choice.
