Software Developer / JAVA, JBoss, Saas / Dublin €50-55k

Our clients are currently seeking a talented JAVA developer to join its team in developing the next generation of data visualisation utilities and API.

Based in Dublin, our client produces solutions for a range of markets which use telemetry from sensors to produce RIA’s that collate, interpret and render mission critical data captured from a wide range of sensors, with a particular emphasis on delivering KPI & metrics tailored to specific business needs.

The sensor industry is expanding rapidly and is an exciting and diverse technical environment offering enormous opportunities for companies such as our client who develop solutions which transform sensor data into business information and resources.

The role will focus on migrating the existing code base which is based on JBOSS 5 to a SaaS model designed for cloud environment.

The successful candidate will be required to contribute to the design, implementation and maintenance of both systems during the transition.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record demonstrating the following capabilities:

• 5+ years experience working with JAVA (certification is a plus).
• Experience working with JBOSS, MySQL, JMS & Web-Services
• Experience should cover full life-cycle development, including design, coding, testing,
• deployment and support.
• Excellent communication skills and willing to contribute at all levels of the development
• life-cycle.
• An enthusiasm for technology and emerging technologies.
• Familiarity with JSP, XML/XSLT, Servlets
• Awareness of PRINCE and ITIL is considered a plus.
