You might be interested in a wide range of very cheap rooms within 15 minutes walking distance from the EP, perfect for someone who wants to save some money :)

The rooms are all 300-400 EUR /month, all included.

Here is a description of a sample 300EUR room, in which I have lived for some time (among 2 other ones there):

It's 10-15 min walking distance from the EP (Rue Souveraine, Ixelles, 5-10 min to metro Porte de Namur, less than 100m to supermarket and night shop, pharmacy, laundry, post office etc), it's a small confy room, in an old building, with a sink and big mirror :) bed, wardrobe, table, chair, another small table, some shelves and drawers, towel and coat hangers.. the usual. Included a set kitchenware, cloths etc. One toilet is half a floor down, one is 1,5 floor up, fully equipped big kitchen 1,5 floor down (though quite messy, not recommended for girls;)) and a shower 1,5 floor up. They're all shared between a total of about 3-4 rooms, but I've nearly never seen anyone else in either of them :) 300 eur with fast wi-fi internet and everything else included. Usually only half-month rent deposit (not one month like they normally take).

There are also some bigger rooms, or with an included shower - also for 300 EUR.

For 400EUR you can get a room together with a small kitchen, bathroom and private toilet!

There still are 2-3 rooms free at the moment. The only downside is that the minimal rent period is 2 months.
