I'm interested in your opinions on the following questions

Where can one find good writers about business topics in Central Eastern Europe/Russia for an international audience of experienced business executives for http://pmrpublications.com

Ideally standards should be as high as in the FT or WSJ but we realistical realise that it is unlikely. Provided the English is outstanding and it is factual and not opinionated, we will publish

Our observation is that often people coming through the local system are afraid to write about topics about which they know nothing. We need writers who are intelligent enough to be able to write 400-1000 words after spending 20 mins researching the topic on Google.

They need strong business awareness, good English language communication skills and to the extent their articles contain opinions, be ones that are in line with the pro globalisation, pro Easten Europe, pro globalisation, broadly optimistic world view that PMR repesents.

How much is reasonable to pay for a 2-4 page article for publication as a free article on a PMR web site like http://pmrpublications.com

For a good fast writer who works to international media standards who can (and wants to) write a couple articles a day we have an almost unlimited amont of work. We need hard working journalist levels of productivity.

Are we better off paying by the article so that we don't have the issue of management, is is better to pay less, and guarrantee payment, or pay more and have a "only pay if we publish" policy.

Are we more likely to find good people here in Poland, or rather
should we use international native speakers of English edited by locals?

For some topics, you can probably find good analysts on: http://www.doss.wroclaw.pl/
(I've got no knowledge about their journalist and language skills, but they are certainly experts in Central / Eastern Europe matters.)

Reasonable payment for 2 pages article in english could probably starts in Poland from about 300 PLN (80 EUR).

In my opinion, it's more attracive for journalists to get guarrantee payment.

International native speaker cooperating with russian native speaker (for example studying in Poland) is also quite good idea. (Russian or Ukrainian native speakers studying in Poland has practical knowledge about eastern reality, western education, and easiness of using source documents in russian.)
