My client based in Co. Mayo with solution centres in multiple locations worldwide is looking for
a SharePoint Developer to join its team. This is a 6 month contract role with a view of going permanent.

This role will involve participation in the full project life cycle. You will be involved in the analysis, design, development, testing and documentation of software projects.

We are looking for an experienced SharePoint Consultant who can gather business requirements and see these through to design and implementation. In addition to this you will have a broad knowledge of SharePoint and be able to recommend technology that can bring tangible benefits to the program going forward.

You will have responsibility for the design, development and deployment of software solutions and components based on Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) 2007 and Windows SharePoint Services (WSS) 3.0 technologies.

Responsibilities:

1. Development of Custom SharePoint WebParts.
2. Developing applications from detailed design specifications.
3. Technical design and implementation of all business requirements.
4. Deployment of all software updates to the portal.
5. To provide recommended solutions to business requirements using the in-house tools available.

Experience:

1. At least three years development experience with at least 2 years .NET 2.0/3.0 experience of the following: - C#, ASP.NET.
2. Over two year’s hands-on experience of MOSS 2007 implementations including: configuration, deployment and development of custom WebParts.
3. Experience with designing and implementation of document management and collaboration solutions based on MOSS or WSS.
4. Three years database experience with MS SQL Server. MySql experience would be an advantage.
5. Two years experience of working with Active Directory
6. One year’s experience of using SharePoint Designer and implementing SharePoint InfoPath solutions.
7. One year’s Microsoft VBA experience.
8. Practical experience of the design and development of multi-layer applications
9. Experience with OO design and implementation techniques
