Job overview:
The Global Business Support IT Technical Specialist is responsible for:
Taking part in application packaging with use of HPCA as a Packaging team member
Delivery of standardisation across the globe in It field
Taking part/supporting management of Central IT Service, including: maintaining support processes, customer relations, procurement, vendor management, configuration, projects, local budget consulting, license management, security systems
Provision of all support, project and change management for existing and new IT support processes, technical equipment and software.

Technical responsibilities:
Admin Studio / Install Shield creating MSTs
MSI creating MSIs
using MSI switches
MSI extraction
PowerShell/VB Script creating custom scripts
HPCA (HP Client Automation / Radia) commands/switches
scheduling
install/uninstall methods
assigning to AD groups
deployment tools
Registry creating/editing registry entries/keys
Active Directory Creating/managing AD entries
Windows OS XP and 7

Requirements:
Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent experience/studies
2+ years in a technical IT Environment
Experience with application packaging solutions (e.g. SCCM/MS SMS, HPCA/Radia), remote updating, virtualised environments is a major plus
ITIL certificate will be advantageous
Good knowledge of enterprise IT infrastructure
Knowledge of workstation and server infrastructure solutions (software distribution techniques, workstation applications, Anti-Virus solutions, Virtual Environments)
Solid experience within an environment running Wintel / Microsoft (experience with Lotus applications is a plus)
Fluent in English
Good attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure in a high throughput global business environment
Excellent organisation skills; able to plan, organise and prioritise workload
Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
Willingness to learn and be adaptable to the changing responsibilities
Experience in system and project management is a plus
