This development project takes the opportunity afforded by the completion of Val IT 2.0, the approaching completion of The Risk IT Framework and the release of ISO/IEC 38500 to enhance, expand and improve on the current edition of the IT Governance Implementation Guide. The toolkit contents will also be enhanced with a Process Maturity Tool, a diagnostic Excel tool based on the COBIT maturity model and designed to provide practical support for its use, highlighting the need to address IT governance, perform a gap analysis and identify areas to mature. It is scheduled to be available in the fourth quarter of 2009.
