Our client is a US based company with offices in CEE and UK providing software-based communications platform for any use by voice, video and text conversations.For the office in Prague we are currently seeking for experienced candidates to join the innovative team to work on highly scalable web applications.
The PHP Developer role encompasses:
• Developing customer’s business critical web applications from frontend to backend
• Tasks include: creating technical design, programming, documenting, creating unit-tests, troubleshooting and fixing bugs
• Work together with colleagues on code reviews, internal infrastructure, and process improvements
You have:
• an established background of delivering business critical web-based applications
• capability of designing and developing new functionality, as well as consistently supporting on-going maintenance releases.
• a mix of technical muscle and business insight, and the ability to quickly learn new technologies.
Pre-requisite Knowledge, Skills and Experience
• BS/MS in Computer Science, Information Systems or similar
• Knowledge of Internet/web technologies web browsers, XHTML, HTTP and JavaScript
• Strong knowledge about PHP, SQL and relational database structures/functions
• Experience working with UNIX/Linux environments, SSH/SCP and version control systems
• Experience implementing and supporting complex data-driven websites and payment systems
• Experience with PostgreSQL, PL/SQL, Java, Perl, Python, Templates and CASE (UML) is a plus
• Ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of the development team
• Excellent communicator and fluent in English
• Ability to work in a multi-tasking and agile development environment.
• Good technical, analytical and communication skills.
• Mindset to "deliver before deadlines", strive towards innovation and process improvements.
