Two locations, either Katowice or Wroclaw

My client is currently looking for a Backup and Recovery Consultant to join a new project in Katowice/Wroclaw (depending on your current location). During this position you will be providing business as usual tasks in the below fields. You will also be required to train other colleagues and take on project focused responsibilities.

This is an initial 4-6 Month contract position with a chance of extension/permanent on another project thereafter.

Job description:
• TSM-client-setup and decommissioning on all server operating systems (databases as well)
• Rollout of new backup procedures
• Rollout of backup software
• Responsible for central TSM components (e.g. include/exclude definitions)
• Performing Comm Vault, File-level restores
• Daily monitoring & Backup administration
• Execution of standard backup related tasks, in particular data restore
• Analysing and resolving TSM server and backup problems
• Performing File level restores
• Providing 2nd-Level On-Call support (OOO hours support)

• AIX knowledge
• Linux knowledge
• Windows knowledge
• Database knowledge
• Knowledge of scheduling procedures
• Knowledge of Change and Problem Management
• Knowledge of TCP/IP
