Release Analyst


The successful candidate will join the EMEA Release Management team. The team is responsible for the release of new and updated internal line of business applications for our internal clients and partners and also the release of windows, IIS and SQL Server. This team manages internal software releases; testing and deploying operating system Hot-fixes, Service-packs, and versions against mission-critical applications. Reporting to the Release Manager, the role will have responsibility for building out UAT environments to test applications and then deploy them.
Essential Requirements
 3+ years in application/infrastructure support role
 In-depth experience with IIS, MSSQL, Active Directory required.
 T-SQL
 Knowledge of SDLC and experience with MOF release management highly desirable.
 Knowledge of SharePoint Portal Server, Microsoft Clustering helpful.
 Knowledge/experience of hardware installation and configuration desirable.
 Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
 Must be able to work with other groups, based internationally, to effectively support the entire environment.
 Must be able to troubleshoot issues quickly and effectively, escalating where necessary.
 Must be able to assess and communicate changes to detailed technical documents
 Must be able to work independently and with minimal supervision.
 Must be adaptable and able to accept varied work tasks.
 Must be able to manage own time effectively
