Brief Posting Description:

As a member of the Cloud Services organization, your focus is to work on installation, migration, upgrade, implementation and maintenance of Hyperion EPM environments. It is important to follow On Demand expert practices, standards and existing process documents. The ideal candidate must have very strong understanding of Hyperion EPM administration and integration, with particular focus on how they integrate together within the broad Oracle application estate. Experience with Application Customization, Interface structure, 3rd party product and Legacy system integration would be an added advantage. This involves working closely with Customers, Service Delivery Managers (SDMs), Project Managers (PMs), and 3rd Party Vendors as well as with internal GIT and Software Operation teams.

Job Requirements:
• Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and coordinating efforts.
• Work is sometimes non-routine and very complex involving application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization.
• Excellent technical judgment and ability to identify problems and recommending solutions.
• Five to Seven years of experience supporting Hyperion EPM.
• BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent degree with academic excellence.
• Oracle Certified DBA and technology professionals are carrying very good credentials for this position.
• Experience with an organization providing 24x7 Support.
• Deliver implementation services and support Hyperion EPM programs on an ongoing basis.
• Ability to work on holidays/weekends or on customer site (part time)
• Strong awareness of the broad Oracle EPM applications suite of products and how they integrate together within the broad Oracle application estate
• Demonstrated ability to deliver successful solutions on projects with complex business requirements
• Review and trouble shoot EPM implementations
• Assist with the pre-sales activities to win new projects
• Take full accountability for the internal delivery of an EPM implementation

Detailed Description:
As a Technical Analyst, you are instrumental in researching, evaluating, designing, testing, recommending, and planning implementation of new versions of Hyperion EPM components. May perform role as a team leads during implementations and providing detail documentation and knowledge transfer for ongoing system operation and maintenance. Candidate will act as Technical Authority for Hyperion EPM integration.

Technical skills:
• Knowledge of Hyperion Essbase Server 11.x and other Hyperion applications like Financial Management, Planning, Performance Scorecard and Strategic Finance
• In-depth experience with Installation/Upgrade/Patching with Hyperion Essbase and other Hyperion applications
• Prior Migration experience of Planning and HFM application from non-prod to Prod environment
• Prior Upgrade experience of Planning and HFM application from earlier version of Hyperion to System 9 or 11i
• Knowledge of Essbase, Planning and HFM Administration
• Knowledge of Essbase, Planning and HFM Performance Tuning
• Experience with Integrating Hyperion with OID and MSAD Server desirable
• Hands-on experience with Data Management tools FDQM, DIM and ODI needed
• Experience with Financial Management DCOM technology
• Troubleshooting skills for critical Database, Application, Networking and System administration issues
• Database / application patching and configuration
• OS Administration - patching, disk management, install software LINUX , WINDOWS etc
• Training on new software releases - Oracle database 11g , WebLogic Server etc
