Stowarzyszenie ds. Kontroli i Audytu Systemów Informatycznych (ISACA) opublikowała wersję roboczą nowego standardu zarządzania i nadzoru IT pt. COBIT 5, który ma zintegorwać dotychczasowe biblioteki COBIT 4.1, Val-IT 2.0 i Risk-IT.

The latest draft of the next version of ISACA’s governance of enterprise IT framework—the COBIT 5 Framework—is provided here for your review and feedback. This foundational COBIT volume introduces the following that combine to provide a comprehensive, effective framework to support the governance and management of enterprise information and related technology:

* Principles
* Drivers
* Benefits
* Enablers
* Other aspects

The primary objective of this exposure is to obtain public input and comment regarding the completeness, quality and value of the development work undertaken. Please complete the short survey questionnaire below to provide your feedback on the work completed to extend, improve and advance ISACA guidance in this area. This online questionnaire will remain open until 31 July 2011.

The COBIT 5 Process Reference Guide incorporates and is the successor to COBIT 4.1, Val IT and Risk IT processes. It describes the:

* Goals cascade
* Process model
* Process reference model
* Detailed processes

The primary objective of this exposure is to obtain public input and comment on the contents of the Process Reference Guide. An online questionnaire is provided to capture specific feedback on certain aspects of the guide. This online questionnaire will remain open until 31 July 2011.

ISACA will be happy to license COBIT for language translation and commercial use after exposure comments have been addressed and COBIT 5 is issued in final form, which is scheduled for the beginning of 2012.

* Design the overarching COBIT 5.0 framework and validate the design with the market
– Design draft document Public Exposure, April 2010
– Design workshop, May 2010
– Finalize the overarching COBIT 5.0 framework design, May - July 2010
* Develop the contents for the overarching COBIT 5.0 framework publication
– Development workshop, August 2010
– Subject Matter Expert content reviews, October 2010 – April 2011 (including an exposure draft of the full publication)
– Public exposure of draft framework, June – July 2011
– Finalize the overarching COBIT 5.0 framework development, July – August 2011
* Prepare the developed materials for publication, post September 2011
