Arrow to build geothermal plants in Indonesia22nd July 2009
Arrow Resources Development has entered into an agreement with Four Crystal Funding and GTherm for Four Crystal to invest $10m at a price of $1 per share of Arrow common stock.
In turn, Arrow has agreed to have geothermal power plants, employing the GTherm technology, built and operated on its properties in Indonesia. GTherm has agreed to build and maintain up to 200 50MW geothermal power plants using its own technology, which has been developed and tested at the US Department of Energy.
The first geothermal plant will be in Kendari, Southeast Sulawesi and is expected to generate up to 50MW of power. The electricity will be sold to PT. Tiga Daun Nusantara, with any excess power sold to PT. Perusahaan Listrik Negara.
