  I'm a frequent user on the Kawasaki Motorcycle Forums and I asked the same question there, because I got to clean my drive chain. Grunge brush + some kerosene always works perfectly well, I never use any other chemicals, cause I'm afraid to destroy O-rings.
  I used Dupont chain lube for my Kawasaki KDX220SR.
