• Responsible for logistics processes: material storage, planning and material kitting – sets preparing, internal handling and line feeding, daily and yearly inventory management. Headcount ~100 BC. PN ~ 20 000.
• Developing and coaching of departmental team members and create individual goals.
• Implementing VPS standards (Volvo Production System) & OD (Operational Development).
• Realizing strategy, turning it into action and creating individual KPI’s (SQDCEP ) within the team.
• Levelling the workload and headcount adjustments. Recruitments, employee development, skill matrix, trainings.
• Implementing and developing lean tool box to daily work. Visual management and daily meetings in Logistics Department.
• Responsible for the annual budgets (operations and investments).
• Waste and bottlenecks reduction: overstock, andon calls, line stops, scrap cost, overtime, extra operations, NVA.
• Safety alerts, risk hunting and safety walks in logistics area. Ensuring policy deployment in terms of environmental aspects.
• Problem solving. Containment and corrective actions in logistics area on local and cross functional area (root cause analysis).
• Continuous improvement. Interdisciplinary Kaizen and QRPS (Quick Response Problem Solving) implemented.

• Optimizing logistics processes base on Lean Manufacturing methods (Volvo Production System and Operational Development) – QRPS, Idea Generation Program, Kaizen.
• Responsible for the annual budgets (operations and investments).
• Enforcing fulfilment of occupational safety and health OSH (Safety alerts, risk hunting and safety walks)
• Balancing the workload in case of current and future needs and bottlenecks.
• Muda (waste): overstock, andon calls, line stops, scrap cost, overtime, extra operations, NVA.
• Supporting other plants in group (Mexico, Russia)
In addition:
• Owner of a module "Pull system" in Volvo Production System (VPS) – buffer management, inventory management by using PFEP

• Optimizing and controling inventory level (ITO, DOI).
• Cooperating with logistics engineering in setting optimal packaging size.
• Problem solving - identifying, eliminating problems in the processes inside the plant and on supplier side (QRPS, benchmark, Kaizen).
• Daily communication with the supplier for secure timely delivery and agreed the priority.
• Reporting, escalating materials availability problems and initiating corrective action and providing proactive standards for the future.
• Wide cooperation with other partners (Custom Agency; VGLO – transport’s issues; other plants – Mexico, Germany, Sweden; IT – SAP system upgrade and develop).
In addition:
• Leading the project "Sequence materials management" - one piece flow (reduce inventory, free up floor space, improve flexibility, fork lifts elimination, improve productivity).
• Owner of a module "Pull system" in Volvo Production System (VPS) – buffer management, inventory management by using PFEP.
• Leading an interdisciplinary team involved in finding and solving causes of errors in the COGI (SAP) report.
• Key User of SAP MM and WM.
