-responsible for directing the planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of processes and procedures within the organization related to material cost management. Responsible for managing and overseeing the methods and processes in support of both new and existing products
-managing material cost reviews.
-responsible for price/cost governance and source control processes and procedures both Flex and customer - quarterly audits, internal and external.
-drive initiatives to improve gross material margin.
Identify, implement and drive actions for Retained Purchase Price Variance (RPPV) optimization.
-drive reconciliation process on materials and deliver information to Program managment for further execution (PPV, Premium charges)
Identify opportunities to increase turnkey business and develop materials management plan (Source Control).
-coordinate quarterly/monthly PPV hardcall process (Forecasting vs Actuals)
-analyze UPPV for claimable/non-claimable and execute the claimable with Program Management
-analyze and monitor actual and future PPV, IPV, define and execute preventive and corrective actions with : Commodity Buyers, PMs, NPI, SSCMs, Finance, Engineering.
-CLPPV control/approval level in ERP system - BaaN
-price discrepancies control check between customer and Flex system - check and action follow-up with Commodity Team/back office in India

-responsible for purchasing on Direct Fulfilment project for global customer
-daily video calls with customer in order to share most up-to-date material situation on project
-preparing reports for global customer for monthly and quarterly business reviews
-coordinating and supervising work of operational buyers
-controlling and reporting ( internally and to customer) material situation and inventory level
-handling BOM and engineering changes from purchased material perspective
-detecting and improving not effective areas of supply chain
-business travelling

-sharing knowledge and best practises for purchasing processes
-coordinating and managing work of buyers team located (7 people) in India
-taking care of high level, meeting corporate goals KPIs
-improving cooperation and communication processes with India team

-purchasing and maintaining optimal stock of components basing on ERP class systems
-negotiating prices with brokers
-looking for critical/shortage components on open market
-managing invoices
-constant maintaining contacts with suppliers
-organizing shipments to Asia, Europe and North America

-maintaining contacts with suppliers
-supply management and release components for production
-supervising deliveries and shipments
