I was responsible for building regional sales structure; sales of IT based solutions to banks and insurers across the region. I was re-starting CSC operations in Poland (start-up like activities), building new team and acquiring new clients (first new client in 4 months after start, 4 clients in first year). $6M annual budget.

Unisys is big (35 thousand people), US based corporation (NYSE) with global presence. Unisys delivers technology (hardware and software) and IT solutions, system integration, IT outsourcing.
I was managing operations of Unisys in Poland (ca. 70 people, $20-30 M revenue). My key role was new business development, introduction of new Unisys offerings to Polish market and new client acquisition on the market of financial services. I was exposed to dynamic business environment: business development, operations improvement, then business shrinking, searching for investors. Within 3 months (from a scratch to due diligence and letter of intent) I found a foreign investor interested in acquisition of Unisys Poland.

I was responsible for selling and managing delivery of IT solutions and consultancy projects for clients of many industries: manufacturing, distribution, telecommunication, banking, insurance. I was developing new business (new client acquisition) and conducting operations improvement projects: business process re-engineering, operational assessment, company turnaround. I managed also internal initiatives (Y2k, sales incentive program, training for consultants etc.).
