· Processing of Corporate Action and Dividend events in an accurate, timely and consistent manner, in accordance with departmental procedures and to the agreed service level

· Resolution of any processing issues and liaison with other areas of Merrill Lynch including Settlements, Trading Desk Support, London Corporate Actions, and Product Data Support

· A high degree of telephone and e-mail contact with internal and external counter-parties

· Follow-up on all payables and receivables

· Timely recovery of funds claimed by Merrill Lynch from external counter-parties and monitoring of outstanding balances

· Daily allocation of client money

· Compliance with all relevant Regulatory and ML policy requirements

· Identifying changes to processes and procedures that will improve control, efficiency, reduce risk and/or improve client services

· Participating in user acceptance testing programmes; Recon, Ursa, Medusa, CAPS

· responsible for liaising with clients - advising and resolving problems with funds price publication in Financial Times newspaper

· responsible for liaising with ww.ft.com clients, answering queries, and resolving problems with regards to the funds price publication

· creating FTP price files for automatic record update: transfer price files received from external sources to the internal database

Watchman - software used for converting Excel, Word, CSV price files into internal format for electronic fund price update

Sickle – program used for uploading database with the gathered fund price information

· developing contacts with external clients who wish to have their funds set up on the database

· training junior members of the team, assigning tasks which need to be covered in accordance with departamental procedures

· liaising with other departaments and FT Interactive Data Corporation offices

· covering assigned reports: price check reports, stale prices report

· gathering financial data
· responsible for accurate updating database in timely manner with gathered information
· solving clients queries promptly
· developing knowledge of data collection software program (mainly Watchman)
