Main tasks:
- Communication with customer on daily basis (tasks, future plans, problems);
- Troubleshooting of problems that occurred during daily work of users;
- Troubleshooting of more complex problems and issues with cooperation from Microsoft/other software providers (i.e. AvePoint);
- Taking care of day-by-day environment work (availability vs downtime)
- Communication and planning of all planned actions on the environment, including: OS and application patching, 3rd party applications updates, internal product patches;
- Cooperation with developers (internal and 3rd party) in software installation (most Sharepoint based) and troubleshooting the issues;
- Cooperation with colleagues in my team - sharing experience (between both: less and more experienced (architects) colleagues);
- Management of MSSQL database servers (databases for Sharepoint/Epi), maintenance;
- Planning and configuration of backups (database level, application level, Sharepoint);
- Multilevel restores (including disaster recovery) from backups;
- Working with application DocAve (modules: backup and restore; Storage Manager (Remote Blob Storage);
- Internal training sessions for newcomers (about daily used applications/procedures/environments) and for more experienced colleagues (about projects/applications/problems);
- Creation and updates of technical documentation;
- Monitoring setup, configuration and filtering unnecessary events/false alerts;
- Installation and configuration of new environments for customers (including usage of autoinstaller);
