· Supports standard desktop applications and operations
· Configures, installs, and maintains standard hardware and software in a networking environment
· Use service management tools and processes to improve the IT service experience for the end-user
· Identifies potential service level problems before they occur and implements solutions
· Provides 2nd line support by resolving complex desktop computer hardware and software problems - end user support level 2
· Processes requests for and schedules new or upgraded desktop computer hardware and software
· Monitors and provides reports on desktop computer software and hardware performance, as needed
· Administers desktop computer software and hardware and oversees service providers
· Provides cost justification for hardware and software, as needed
· Maintains desktop computer software and hardware documentation, inventories and registration to provide upgrades as necessary
· Recommends, enforces, and documents technical service level standards for desktops
