I lead the team responsible for communication and marketing activities as well as organization of events at the University of Lodz. The team also coordinates some of the activities carried out by other units of the University, including faculties and departments. The team among others include a spokesperson, person responsible of communication in all social media channels, person responsible for promotion of researchers and since, a photographer, a graphic designer, people responsible for video content and also people responsible for organizing events mainly for teenagers and children.
During the first 6 months of work we have identified areas for improvement, conducted research and started work on the promotion strategy and the new visual identification system, as well as the organizational changes necessary to introduce new quality of work. Over the next year under my lead we:
• developed a new brand promotion strategy,
• developed a new visual identification system introduced in all faculties (in cooperation with creative studio Ortografika),
• improved style of communication to fit the new strategy and image,
• introduced personnel changes in the team, including employing qualified staff to create video, run social media communications
• started intensive activities in the area of promoting scientific activities, including the start of video series.
Currently we are working on a new website that will focus on the in-stream pages of all University units.
