- Calculate and post EFT receipts to appropriate general ledger accounts and verify details of transactions, such as funds received and total account balances
- Research un- applied cash to proper Customer’s accounts
- Compile and sort documents, prepare and post credit and debit memos
- Perform account reconciliations
- Research and resolve payment discrepancies
- Assist with month-end closing
- Provide backup support to other groups in the accounting department, type periodic reports
- Work with collections personnel to verify status of delinquent accounts and solicit payments on overdue accounts
- Ensuring daily operations are carried out according to set targets and deadlines
- Prepare any required transition documentation
- Transfer the acquired knowledge to other employees if necessary

Responsible for performing all billing related functions, including bookkeeping, data entry, creating invoices, posting tuition waivers, maintaining refunds ledgers, applying discounts and also answering incoming calls. Also generation of billing reports and maintaining with a high level of accuracy the balance of all student accounts. Assists management with developing and implementing measures to improve all billing related processes.
